Vintage 2003 – 331 Oechsle
Markus Molitor broke the German Oechsle (sugar concentration) record. A Trockenbeerenauslese with 331 Oechsle was picked in autumn 2003. This is the highest sugar concentration ever measured in Germany. This marvellous result was possible because of the extreme hot and dry summer, very low crop loads in the Molitor vineyards and the golden October.
